We should probably start a new thread/topic over in the SKY section to discuss this.

Boooo. We're almost up to 200 pages. You can't just sabotage an almost 4 year old thread because it no longer makes sense.

Technically, Sky are still outbid this time by BEIN.  All they have done is bought the rights to distribute in NZ on behalf of BEIN.  I'm happy to wait to see what BEIN offer for a direct subscriber.  I've ditched Sky now and not even this will entice me back.

Admittedly PLP are gone, but I think it still fits the forum and the topic. Roll on 200 :)

Yea, you'll be able to purchase an online subscription soon. Also, does anyone know if they will be broadcasting their channels in HD? Right now, only beIN 1 is HD...

yeah i've got the new channel on now and it looks pretty great. there's a show on about leicester's championship run on now. i initially had a grumble about the additional fee but i guess having a proper hd channel (instead of the trash served up on neulion) + bein sports connect is well worth it at the end of the day. roll on the season

Still no news about when Bein Sports Connnect will be up and running. Getting irritated with Bein Sports now.

It would be great if they at least have an anticipated launch date

Thoughts on the first night?

I think bein 1 is actually a premier league productions produced channel as it seems to be all premier league produced content, with no bein produced content.

On the 3 o'clock kickoff they had 'goal rush' where they highlighted goals scored in other games. Good amount of pre and post match stuff happening too

I waited for the Southampton game, it was listed as starting at 9:30, I tuned in and it was 30 minutes into the game. Hopefully next weeks listings will be better.

I aim to misbehave.

My Dad (Spurs fan) had brain surgery last Wednesday and was looking forward to getting home in time to see their game yesterday. Got discharged on Saturday, set the game to record then yesterday morning found the recording had failed with error code "HW5" and there's no replay until this afternoon. It did not clash with other things recording at the same time. Called Sky and they didn't know what that error meant and the person on the phone didn't seem to know what Bein Sports was either. Asked on the Bein Sports facebook page if anything had gone wrong with that particular game and no answer.

Guess it was never going to go smoothly the first week given the whole performance to get it. Hopefully it works next weekend. Anyone manage to successfully record that game?

I'm happy, the pre and post match analysis and interviews are great, except they had two Mancs in the studio to analyse the Arsenal v Liverpool game :P
