I cant understand why anyone is still with them, at the higher price with the dire selection its just ugh...

compared to what else is available officially in NZ, I think they are pretty good value.  Much better than Igloo IMO.  Obviously you dont get as much stuff as on Sky, buit then you are paying a shed load less too

Yes, Netflix with Unblock-us is better, but lots of people don't know about that, aren't techy enough to set it up, think it is illegal (it isn't) or just don't feel comfortable breaking the Ts and Cs of a company

Behodar: I just looked at my bank statement and found that for the past two months Quickflix has charged me $16.99 instead of $9.99. I didn't get any sort of notification that the price was increasing by 70%; did anyone?

When I signed up I knew the $9.99 price was only temporary and it's recently gone up to $14.99/month, which is a few dollars cheaper than I was expecting. I'm not going to bother trying to look back for any sign up stuff, it was there and I was quite clear the under $10 price was a time limited enticement. Hardly use the service though so will kick it in the pants soon.
