The positives of subscribing to Netflix Us is that you're still going to get access to the NZ site when it launches, and doing so you might save yourself some money (provided the exchange rate is low and you are on a free DNS service such as callplus global mode)

how will global mode know to trick Netflix into sending your IP addr as from NZ or from US?

Orcon uses this whitelabelled service from Bypass networks
https://bypass.net.nz/

do they provide the customer an interface somehow to tell it whether you want your connection to appear in US/UK/AU/NZ etc?

I suspect their primary CDN for this region will be AWS infrastructure in aus..

Probably peered into the APE here in Auckland

Netflix will supply the appliances.

I suspect, that unless they provide some sort of dashboard for your to choose your Netflix region, that they will have to turn off the redirection for Netflix. If they don't then they will have a whole slew of complaints from people who want to access NZ Netflix.

best way to change your netflix location is to google 'netflix *country*

EG searching netflix uk will result in a URL that is netflix.com/gb

Trade NZ and US shares and funds with Sharesies (affiliate link).

Might as well use unotelly, you can setup Netflix for different regions :-)
