I'd wondered if the BBC had succumb to pressure around doing more around geo-unblocking, but this would not appear to be the case if HD is working, and other formats aren't.

I wonder if anybody from Bypass Network Services Limited is on this forums and could shed some light?

I asked orcon & they said it was a problem at the bbc end, either way the issue is currently resolved and appears to be working ok for me now.

Still issues with SD content on Orcon Global Mode, but HD appears to be working now.

Background ...
I have the iPlayer working on my Samsung H6400 TV App with the Region set to UK.
I use Unotelly.
I want to revert the region back to NZ so that I can pick up (say) the VideoEzy app for Rentals and use a Fire TV for the BBC iPlayer.

Issue ...
I moved my FireTV box from another room with the intention of purchasing Rentals from Amazon. I couldn't get it to purchase and I believe the issue is that my US Credit Card via EntroPay is not issued by a USA Bank. That is another story. Before moving it, BBC iPlayer was working on the Fire TV.

Now that I have moved it and trying to be able to purchase Rentals, I have done a factory reset on the Fire TV several times, even linking to my Amazon UK Account (which it is at present).

iPlayer comes up with 'Something went wrong loading this programme - 02001' on SD and HD settings.
As far as I can tell, the FireTV is linked to the UK e.g. Rentals are in UK Pounds and my amazon.co.uk has my device registered to it.

How do I get around the 02001 message?

Before I went to work this morning I got the BBC iPlayer working.

I double checked the Unotelly Dynamo settings and 'accidently' came across the setup for a FireTV via Unotelly.

Even though Netflix (USA) was working OK, I re-did the network setup and then the BBC iPlayer started to stream OK.
