old3eyes: Just watch some of the overnite NFL game from Wembley Stadium in London on TVNZ1 .   Not HD I think  but way better than  the popup channels.  Was surprized to see the stadium full.  Would be nice to get a full house here for the March 2016 games..

I was wondering if the TV One game was in HD or not, who was the Host Broadcaster?

Probably CBS - they have done the other two Wembley games this season.

Actually it was FOX.  CBS had the other two by virtue of being AFC games.

Very surprised it wasn't noticed in HD clearly, I might take a look next time any games are on TV One

I'm watching the TVNZ On Demand Stream and looks like the stream is on the verge of 720p I wonder if TVNZ may consider getting the channel on at 720p on Freeview.

I was looking at the grass on the field as it's a good indicator as to whether HD or not.  Having not seen NFL on Sky's HD channels it was hard to tell but the quality was good.

As others have said Fox was the host broadcaster..

old3eyes: Slightly OT but does anyone know if the NFL game  for March 05.2015 at Eden Park  in Auckland still on??

According to the Herald - the Southern Bowl game @ Eden Park on 5th March..... cancelled.  Lack of interest from NZ fans.
Hopefully those of us with tickets will get refunds.

A hard sell when it's fringe players and not real NFL players.

A more interesting concept would be a cross code game with a half of each code.  American Football in the 1st half and rugby or league in the 2nd half.  It wouldn't prove anything but it would be fun to watch and give an appreciation of how difficult both sports are.
