I'm an Australian resident living in Melbourne with Apple TV4, there is still no app released for the apple tv and a friend of mine back in the UK is having no luck there either. Seems they are really missing the mark this year. I have an iPad which the iOS app works perfectly well for but its just not satisfying to watch on such a small screen. There is also no app for next gen consoles at this point. The PS store and Xbox stores have nothing to offer. Im almost at the point of requesting a refund if it wasn't for the access to Hard Knocks!!

Classic american companies not giving a s*** about anyone outside of their country

Or the local pay TV networks trying to stop them.

I pushed quite a bit, requesting whether the app would be ready for regular season.

The last email I got back from them stated, in bold, that they were working ASAP to get it going.

However, they then went on to point out that "downtime" was allowed within the Ts&Cs that I agreed to when I signed up.  (I'm paraphrasing the email here)

So, giving that they are starting to insist that "not work" equates to "downtime" - I'm picking that there is simply no way they will be ready before regular season.

UPDATE!

If you go to the app store on your AppleTV, you will find "NFL Game Pass Intl" (This is in the NZ App store, I assume that it's also now in the .au App store).

I can confirm that it does work - it has a nice feature where it will show upcoming games in your local Timezone.

It also allows scores to be hidden.

Other than that, it's extremely basic.  (The NFL mobile app on the iPad is much more feature rich, but I find actually watching the game through the ipad to be a painful experience)

Go Hawks!

UPDATE!

Not entirely related to my previous post, I’ve been happy with the service of the apps since they finally made it available after pre season had ended. I’ve recently made the trip from Australia to the UK to visit my parents for 3 weeks and now it’s come to football Sunday, I picked up the iPad for red zone and found my gamepass account will not allow me access in Europe. What. The. F***
I understand it probably stops multiple people using single accounts, but denying me the ability to use my account that I paid nearly $300 for is a f****** joke!
