Has sky made any comment about their quality of the streaming service? i.e any future upgrades/ improvements or even acknowledged it's crap?

they don't really have an incentive to make it better.

I'd say a massive decline in subscribers and a move to on-demand and mobile entertainment would be enough of an incentive.

Is a single digit % over a few years massive? How does profit compare to others in NZ?

Someone must work for sky TV...

57,000 subscribers left last year, a similar number the years before that. The a downward slope sadly. Before you get too defensive it’s a slope that worries me as I enjoy Sky itself but the outlook is bleak under their current model.

Its not crap, is Sky on the go, unless your on the go device is a 60 inch TV

If it’s on the go only why have a PC version of the website? Wouldn’t it be optimised for mobility only?

Before you get in the defensive further, I’ve already said it’s my laptop specs as it’s crap before I connect it to my TV, my 32” TV, so almost half the size you assume I have.

My comments, well question actually was on the back of others negative comments.

It’s clear you’re a sky employee and embarrassing how defensive you are

LOL ok. Whats the opposite of defensive? No, Im not a Sky employee

Subscribers used to be in the high 800's, circa 50% market share, I think its now in the high 700's

Laptops are mobile, people don't just take phones on the go to use. Without doingf any math, a small, 32 inch TV has far far more real estate than a phone, tablet or laptop. Its commonly known that a browser isn't the best way to go, an iPad does work well. Use that I suggest

Others have negative comments as its cool to hate Sky, surely you can see that? Its not hard to seperate the oats from the chaff if you read facts from other Sky threads

Oh, a 32" TV is not almost half the size of a 60" TV

So why not watch the cricket via the set top box? Why use SkyGo? Surely you can sort out the priorities in the household such that watching cricket is not such a PITA.

You've been duped?  Or the people that bothered to respond to you have been duped?
