Also not really a fan of the layout. I'm testing Infuse as a Plex replacement. I don't need to have a server running, it reads straight from my NAS and plays any format without transcoding. Plex is getting too bloated with features and without a Plex Pass the Apple TV client would force transcoding for many of my files (HDR 10 mkvs). I don't need access away from from home and all my devices are Apple so Infuse is an excellent (and simple) solution.

Went to have a look but Iphone/Ipad only? No Android support or am I missing something? I access files all over so this is a biggie for me tbh. (I can stream at work or when out and about using Chromecast).

Yeah, iOS/MacOS only.

I'm the same, I need something I (and my family) can view from anywhere (without VPN).

So Kodi is effectively out of the picture, Emby is an option, or I enable VPN and they can use their own player and do it that way ;)
