I have found that watching on the tvnz / sport tab i have the issue, 

 

 

 

When watching just on the live tv / duke channel - it does still do it but much much slower

Yep,

 

Typical crap apps that are written these days (Among other things, I'm a software developer).... Jeez TVNZ, how hard is it to implement arrows to go forward and back in the stream like every other site does.......
