The providers offer and support apps. They are well within their rights to make changes to their service.

If you use an alternative and unsupported way of accessing their content and their changes break your access that’s a you problem not an obsession by the content provider.

 

I was wondering when you would show up to tell us all how it is. Happy now?

Have you tested without the custom DNS yet?

I tried but it didn't seem to make any difference. I have given up on this. It works in some places, not in others. I am tired of fiddling with it.

Or tried no dns service and the official apps.

If the official apps don’t work, there’s no way some after market kodi solution will.

I tried again with Google (8.8.8.8) and it worked as it should. I must have done something wrong on the previous attempt. So it does appear to be a DNS issue.
