I remember reading this article on stuff. I may have read similar from another source too, I can't remember. Basically, it hints at some ISPs having an agreement with SKY which makes it difficult for them to unmeter other suppliers.

Except telstraclear don’t unmeter iSky either, so it makes that theory a little silly IMO.
The only (large) ISP that unmeters iSky but doesn’t yet unmeter quickflix is Vodafone. The others either unmeter both or neither.

So its more about the contract telstraclear have with Sky to provide the Sky channels over their network that prevent them unmetering.
I am on telstraclear cable and I am about to sign up to Quickflix and try them out. So if the service stacks up then I would be very keen for unmetering.
