Relieved that the media reports were false and the service is coming. Although its been very amateurish so far. Communication has been poor. Its a joke the service is not even ready yet.
Surely Bein Sports Connect will be up and running by the end of September.

Mildly annoying, but rather that than having to get sky :)
That's true. At least we can just get the football and not have to get Sky. Would much rather have this situation than the rights being with Sky.
Travelling through Europe at the moment. For all the complaining you don't know how lucky you are.
If in UK you only get 5 of the 10 games live, any at 3pm on Saturday are not allowed to be. To be sure to get your team each week and the other competitions you will need 2 subscriptions Sky UK and BT.
Even in other european countries it can be 2X as much per month for the just the football and nothing else.
The simple facts are that if you want to watch your own countries competition in europe you have to sign up to a SKY NZ type service.
To fund the salaries etc the cost to watch is high as it is the elite sport of each country.
Yes, the amount it costs to watch football on TV in England is very high, there are however alternatives that are impossible for us over here. I would have a season ticket which means I get to watch half the games in the stadium and there is the option to watch the games in the pub and therefore not needing a subscription to Sky or BT - as well as the usual alternative streams that are not so much of issue to watch whilst in the UK due to the timezones.
The 3pm blackout is to ensure football fans still go and watch the lower league teams on a Saturday. Supporting a team that has until recently been a lower league team, I wouldn't be surprised if this was one of the main reasons we didn't fold when times were bad that we were still getting 4-5,000 people through the gates instead of just 2-3,000. Whether more Sky money should find it's way into the lower leagues is a different conversation.
Apparently you can access the Premier League through Sling TV as it has access to the NBCSN channel which shows the Premier league. You do need an unblocker. Has anyone tried it?
The links a couple pages back for the full match downloads site work perfectly; on UFB I can download a game in 10 mins and chromecast it to my TV.
If Bein had been available at the start of the season I'd never have considered looking at alternatives, now I've got a decision to make

Thanks. I am looking for a live feed though and I don't think they do that? I just wish Bein would launch their streaming service!
I have tried Sling TV. Its pretty good. will sign up for that for this weekend as you get a free 7 day trial so I can watch the Manchester derby. Hopefully Bein Sports Connect is up and running. What pisses me off is they said it wouldn't be available within the next few weeks in the middle of August and its been a few weeks now.

Thanks. That is exactly what I am planning on doing for this weekend.
Cheers
For those of you who don't mind setting up a couple of things on your PC\Laptop to be able to watch any game in HD the following should work. I set this up last night and although haven't watched the football the sports currently being shown work great. This will be particularly good for those of us who support the smaller clubs. This is only for watching live.
First install Kodi - https://kodi.tv/ (If you download torrents and the like, this is great to have anyway).
Then install ZemTV add on https://seo-michael.co.uk/how-to-install-zemtv-for-xbmc-kodi/
Once installed take a look at the Pi Sports and WTV sections and see the list of all the BeIN sports channels (HD and non-HD).
How do I know what channel the game is on I hear you ask... go to http://www.beinsports.com/en/tv-guide and find the time of the game you want to watch (I believe the site changes the time to NZ time) this will show you which BeIN Sports channel to select within ZemTV.
I went through a few channels earlier and matched them to what should be on and it was spot on everytime.
