Is there or will there be a dedicated Apple tv app for it does anybody know or LG app.

ATV4 app in a few months. That will be great, plus the phone/tablet app for on the go.

Nice will wait for the ATV4 app , things would have settled in a bit by then.

Is there a list of other sport that will be coming along ?? , Mainly motor sports for me, would be perfect if the V8 SC's were to arrive (just saying)

Not going to happen soon, as Sky extended their exclusive rights to Supercars through to (I think) at least 2021.

Well they must have a bit of money to throw around on their existing contracts now they're not paying to RWC and F1 coverage...so they can sped a bit more to retain other sports in their stable.

Best to cast from an app that supports casting. I cast from iPads, thats works perfectly.

Watching via Chrome on an i7 Laptop, looks nice and crisp, no lag, watched some NBA and some of the Rally and fighting stuff. Very nice. I'm assuming the default resolution is the highest possible. Nothing to show the current resolution so if you have a connect speed > 15Mbs then its 6Mbs as default? Thought this might be selectable to make sure its on the highest res and bit rate.

Otherwise all looks good! So Android app and Chrome on PC look great.

Its set to "auto" by default.  You can select it though - click on the cog!  Edit: Oops - might be mobile only!

On another note - is Chromecasting only available from the mobile app?  Not seen it in the web browser.

It is possible, but only as casting the tab.
A further enhancement will enable this within the player itself.

I'll ask if the sports folk can comment on the quality selector on browser.
