@Mauricio, sorry to take so long to test this. Mine took about 2:00 to get up to 4300 kbps and 2:46 to 5800. It then meandered between the two until 5:34 when it dropped to 3000 and then to 1750 at 6:39. It got back up to 3000 at 7:52 before dropping to 2350 again at 8:44 where it stayed until the end.
I tried the same on my PS3. While it's difficult to compare eggs with eggs, the PS3 got up to 4300 at 1:26 and 5800 at 3:25. It alternated between the two right until 10:10, staying at 5800 for 5 minutes before dropping to 3000 and then to 2350 at 11:00.
On the face of it, it does look as if the Fire TV is running slower. I'm having problems with Hulu as well, with it often taking 4 or 5 attempts for it to log in without it timing out. I haven't tried Hulu on the PS3 yet.
