Do you have the same streaming issues when using a supported device running the official TVNZ Ondemand app?

Yes, I'd like to know that too.

Will check next time it happens, but the prevalence of ads has low WAF so I'll have to try some time when she's not about. She has a very low tolerance for technology when it doesn't work, so it'll get a couple of chances then it'll be "change to something that works!" = switch to Netflix or Lightbox.

After the update I tried watching 'Mad About You' via OnDemand … had to quit due to incessant buffering every 20 seconds or so.

An episode of 'Manifest' streamed perfectly.

The updates have no relationship to buffering they are to fix issues with the code due to changes in Kodi. You need to look elsewhere for help with buffering. I am experiencing some buffering issues also from time to time and tvnz has been bad recently.

@rickles try streaming across your own network from a video file on another device it may help identify whether it is a local issue.

@Yellowsub … streaming from NAS and USB over network all work perfectly, and as I mentioned earlier, latest OnDemand streams are also OK (Grey's Anatomy, Manifest etc).  As others have found, ThreeNow streams are not affected at all.

I'm on HFC cable with 200mbps download, so heaps of bandwidth.

P.S.  The buffering fault appears to only be with using a TV box type device …. viewing the streams via PC (browser) are fine.
