Just watched a full two hours of Hulu on the ATV4 app (two different shows) and can report flawless operation via Unotelly and Spark VDSL.

Which DNS server were you using?

For all others experiencing trouble with Hulu we still would like to see some more test results. The issue is we do NOT want to disrupt other users in NZ who may not be experiencing the problem.

I am on getflix but had the same problem, i switched to Toronto dns and its been all good.

I am happy to provide test results but just to clarify do you want us to switch back to Auckland dns before running the traces?

Just the normal primary server for New Zealand users. Apple TV is set to NZ region with location services turned on and logged into US iTunes account, for what it's worth.

@howduz1 - we are actually more interested in knowing who your Internet Service Provider is. Are you on Spark or 2 Degrees?

@littleheaven - thank you for informing us :)

We have now begun forwarding all NZ DNS users to the North American Hulu streaming server. Please test this out and report back if it has improved the performance for you over what you previously had with the Auckland DNS server.

Thanks howduz1 - Can you tell me which DNS servers you are using and what the performance is like for you?

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

Uno - (Just to confirm I'm using getflix) and using Toronto DNS 169.53.182.124

Since I changed (from AKL servers) I haven't had one stall/buffer while watching hulu - so all is good. I'll leave the DNS server there until something changes.
