Just to get away from Covid19, I started having the same buffering/freezing issues again on TV One as described above by myself and @funnyfela. But this time I was on a different device and also had installed the @Apsattv IPTV list that does not make use of the merge/quality control add-on. In this way I was able to switch between the two. The add-on definitely creates the buffering and freezing issues. When not using it TV One is normal and has no problems. This does not necessarily apply to the Oz streams, though. When they start buffering the add-on is the only way to view them. I'm not sure why there is such a difference, but so far the problem only seems to occur with NZ streams.

Hi, I would like to try this too.

So to confirm I should be using this link for the m3u file:

http://www.apsattv.com/kiwitv2.m3u

Where can I find the xml for EPG?

Just to add to this - I've also been experiencing the issues with buffering, skipping and delays on an off for the last 3 weeks or so(broadly between 6pm and 9pm each day).

I'm using the latest release of Kodi on a Sony Android TV connected via ethernet on a 2degrees 100/20 fibre connection.  At first i thought the issue was something to do with Matt H's NZ IPTV client and M3U so i changed over to the APstv M3u and things seemed to come right for a bit.  But two nights ago neither would work well on Tv1/Tv2 so i ended up downloading the official TVNZ OnDemand client for Android TV (taking Kodi right out of the picture).  This had the same issue.

So im wondering if its related to my broadband provider?  Happy to test any other theories.

I think you just confirmed its specific OVERLOADING  on tvnz's service nothing to do with playlists or devices.

Matt or Sly recently changed the streams for TVNZ1 and 2, Matt was using a different stream before (a longer cloudfront link) ..i notified him that there was a stable smaller link, he refused to change it, i think sly changed to that so it might be causing issues as Matt used a direct "HQ" option, whereas sly uses the new one but recently i noticed (they didnt' do this last year), TVNZ is changing their master link quality link, before you will get  high at "master_01.m3u8" and low and "master_05"  but every few days  TVNZ is changing that with currently the high being master_33.m3u8 and low being master_29.m3u8 but sly/matt is using master_19 which is no longer working.... if anyone here an contact either, tell them to change the TVNZ feeds to master.m3u8, it could solve the issue of buffering and give users the 'adaptive ISP speed' option..

I have added Tv1 Master at the bottom of my playlist.

If that helps

Thank you. What is the url for the EPG data? I have all the channels working now, just no EPG data.

I found Two up near the end of the list. I just had to put it back with channel manager.

Matt has informed that from now his redirects will link to the masters only. If anyone want to use the sub lower streams. They will need to use the KODI addon with the option.
