Channel TEN have it on FTA, I don't know whether their online stream will have the event blocked or not (all Aussie channels tend to block some live events from their online streams). No VPN or DNS is required to view this.

Channel Ten don't have online rights to the event (at least according to their TV guide), so it won't be available on Ten Play. I'm watching it via Foxtel Now with a VPN. You need to have an Aussie credit card to sign up to Foxtel Now.

How did you get on signing up for Foxtel? Asks for a Oz cellphone number? What did you use there?

My Aussie mobile number :) They don't ask for a verification of the number, so feel free to use any 10 digit number that starts with 04xx xxx xxx.

Free VPN of your choice (or trial) and Motortrend on Demand 14 day trial. Works brilliantly for me (at least on MTOD content - I'll report back when the Shootout starts which is their next live stream from Bathurst)

I was easily achieving flawless 1080P on Roadkill.

Cheers - N

Others finding sky go is heavily interlaced?
Am seeing horrendous horizontal lines in motion sections.

Working. Had a couple of momentary rebuffers forcing 1080p so have selected 720p and it's perfect.

I'll probably find a better vpn after the shootout.

That will be the D1-CIF resolution, 512x288.

SaferVPN + MTOD was rock solid at 720P (not a single glitch or rebuffer) and I suspect if I chose a West Coast server it would have been perfect at 1080P.

Nah it's been ok previously, but just last few weeks some of the sports channels are terrible with interlacing artefacts.

Since Bathurst is being shot in 4K this year, are there any 4K streams or is it just limited to Foxtel's Broadcast?

I tried asking Fanpass on twitter last night but all I got back was a generic "we don't stream in 4K" answer.

The 4K is broadcast only for Foxtel, and even then, only if you have the right box.

It’s broadcast only in 4K isn’t it?
I don’t believe it’s being streamed in 4K anywhere.

Not sure if they support it, but I can chromecast my browser tab if I need to. I have a Surface Pro however connected to the HDMI input on my amp... Cables are always better than air!
