SJB:

Where did that Sky News UK link come from? It seems to point to an m3u8 that contains a list of png files. That's not a stream that I recognize.

VLC won't play it.

repalce with this, i have seen those workflow ones, therr are many available for all sky Uk networks but none really work, test this instead http://skydvn-sn-mobile-prod.skydvn.com/skynews/1404/05.m3u8 (720p)it doesn't work for appsat apparently but works for me..

quite a few of those, apparently only works on vlc player but not likely to work for kodi users..some more if you want to personally add it to your own kiwitv.m3u, more than 150 chans but again not reliable, can stop working anyday.i created some useful ones from it (most are either dead or not in english)

Yeah sky news was working in potplayer and kodi for me however they seemed to not be a live stream just a video loop

They are from doofree88 so yeah they are what they are ,.,, dodgy links not worth the time.

yep remember going through atleast 8 different URL's of theirs over the last 3 years, they keep changing links regularly.i don't use them i have my own iptv list @apsattv, maybe add that sky news link i added at the top of this page as a test at the bottom of your list, it might work for other people and if it doesn't it can be removed, works fine for me on vlc/kodi, mpv and mpc....

It works but poorly. Stuttering, breaking up etc.

I use a Hosts file from DNS4Me. Does skydvn-sn-mobile-prod.skydvn.com need to be routed thru their UK server? It's not currently in their Hosts file.

You can drop the resolution to help with that.

03.m3u8

or lower numbers

but a better miniproxy with mmore bandwidth would be better

Hi All,

I have dragged out my old X96 running 16.1 Jarvis

I am wanting to install the kiwitv2 stream but am not having much luck.

With the instructions.

From the KODI Main Menu, navigate to Add-ons -> My Addons -> PVR Clients.
Scroll down to PVR IPTV Simple Client and select it.

Note:
If you do not have the "PVR Clients" menu or the "PVR IPTV Simple Client" listed:
Navigate to Add-ons -> Add-on Browser -> Install from Repository -> All Repositories -> PVR Clients -> PVR IPTV Simple Client.

Then click Install. Then continue with the below steps.

I dont have  PVR IPTV Simple Client and google suggest I might be out of luck, only available on newer versions.

I have factory reset my box so using indigo, I have also tried to update the software but I have had no luck.

I dont want to record TV, just watch, is there another way around this or can someone point me in the right direction to install  PVR IPTV Simple Client.

Thanks in advance

John
