Any reason why you don't update your Kodi to 18.6?

Settings , addons check for updates see what it offers?

I have tried to update the software but it will not update, even to 17.6

I have not tried uninstalling an reinstalling with 18.6

I know there is a lot of hacking with these cheap android box's so it may or may not be able to be updated.

The hardware and Android version restricts the kodi version too.

I've had a play on 2 that would not update past jarvis and eisengard. They start dropping old gpu/sound chips

a quick google suggests for these boxes - to update kodi you need to
1. uninstall kodi from the box
2. go to kodi.tv > downloads > android > ArmV7a to download from there.

The version on Google Play doesn't work for these boxes

I did not see that in my searches, I have now done that and it says 18.6 is installed :-)

A quick test shows that it is working but very slowly.

just change 68 on your .m3u for maori tv to to 13 and it should start working..

I have other channels like Hallmark movies working via miniproxy through potplayer however, the urls don't work when passed into Kodi simple pvr for some reason.

Thanks but I'm not sure I understand. I use the Apsattv link and didn't think I could change that I'm any way?
