Again, Watch From Start does not work.

Not for me, either, so I missed most of the pre-race coverage, and I had to be sure I was glued to the telly to not miss the actual race start. Very aggravating.

I'm casting from a Samsung GalaxyPad S2 to a ChromeCast, btw

Tks, that 3 I am aware of, all tablets. one iPad and two Andros based tablets, all Chromecasting. Laptops worked (my Macbook with Chrome, casting) and a PC laptop with Chrome, and casting , so bear that in mind for now. At 12 there are live events I will try again as a test, to isolate the tablet or the CC. I have lodged feedback today

That's for an extremely limited time.

"Those who purchase a "super early bird" pass in May will pay $59.99 to watch live every Rugby World Cup match.

From June to early September, the price will be $79.99.

Then in the "final few days" before the tournament starts in Japan, the cost will rise to $89.99."

Single match passes will also be available for $24.99 once the tournament is underway.

Seeing Freeview boxes are now Android TV and available in retail, the minimum would be Android TV and Apple TV.

They've confirmed Android TV but not whether it will be generic or Sony only, like Lightbox. I think they have also confirmed Apple TV but I'm not sure.

The unspoken part of my question was about release dates. So Assuming android tv/apple tv by RWC.   Your shield, does that count as generic Android TV, ie you get a lightbox app?  I know I'll have friends after a device, and they'll be asking me.....and while for 90% I'll say apple tv, it's handy to have cheaper options.

Definitely still holding hope for a native LG Webos app at some point. Chromecast is good but alot of the native apps seem to have slightly better upscaling.

Took me a while for the penny to drop LOL.  At first I thought, that's f'ing useless, the attachment to the tweet isn't resolving.  Then I realised that is exactly the point.  Very funny.

I am really hoping the Samsung TV I bought a few weeks ago will get the app in time for RWC.

Cannot bear the thought of teaching Himself how to cast.
