Thanks for the feedback.  Looks like ITV may have done something for the desktop browser.  I will be following the next game to make sure it works on the desktop.  The iPad app seems to work ok (although they have recently updated it and it appears that they are having a few issues with compatibility with IOS 9 for live broadcasts) and we have amped up our UK servers for the RWC.

I got a warning when I opened ITV's app this morning not to upgrade to iOS9 yet - luckily the iPad I use for geounblocked streaming hasn't been updated yet so will just leave it as is for now.

I watched in bed (!) on my Nexus 5 for a bit on ITV player. It was fine.

Then I got up and watched on my 60" TV using an older Motorola Xoom tablet connecting to the TV using HDMI.

I also then compared that with the Prime picture. To tell the truth there wasn't a lot in it with the ITV Player picture often clearer than the crappy Prime picture. There was about a minute delay on ITV versus Prime which isn't surprising given the processing delays of the stream.

This is going to be a good option to watch whenever I want to.

If you have a Fire TV you can also watch it on ITV using the Mediahhh TV app.

I struggled with dns4me today as well and haven't been able to watch the match back on the ITV player since either (assuming that they do provide access to watch back full games).

Should be fixed now, we have isolated the issue :)

dns4me host file users will need to reload the host file to get the update.

Thanks

Itv player on roku 3 with unotelly.

Additional hint, set your router DNS to London Dynamo as opposed to auckland or Sydney.

Worked a treat, great quality, shame about the quality of the commentators...

I also have access to a skygo account and that sucked donkey balls.

Interesting. Watching the rugby this morning via fanpass it froze on occasion near the end of the game and the picture and sound became slightly out of sync.

I tweeted Sky and they put it down to the host broadcaster.

I tried to install the ITV app on my Roku 2 where it is apparently available but it wasn't there. I suspect it's because the Roku has to be connected to the Roku UK Channel, not the US one which mine is. There are instructions on how to change the store but it means resetting the Roku and I didn't want to do that.

I woke up about 15 minutes before the end of the AB game and was able to watch it fine on my Nexus 5 using the ITV player. There was no buffering or apparent degraded quality but of course, the amount of data going to a phone is not as much as say to a full 1080p display.

Also this morning I did a quick check and discovered I could also watch ITV live on Kodi (on my Pi2) which is connected to my big TV so that might be a way to get the picture onto a big screen.

I agree but since I can watch it on Kodi, I don't feel any need to try to hack my Roku.

Watched the ITV stream through my laptop plugged into the TV.  Quality was good, definitely not HD. No stuttering or playback issues unlike the alternative services:

Is the quality through the Roku any better? Would love to have it in HD.  Any suggestions?
