I'm making a change to the weekly Top 10. It's getting an upgrade to the Top 20.

A Top 20 or Top 10 may not be of interest to readers of this thread, but it is a good way to check for any price drops or A/V updates that I haven't already posted. After all, Since iTunes has been decimated, it's harder to find everything as easily as I used to before and I'm likely to miss some price or A/V updates from time to time.

On top of that, it keeps me amused and I enjoy keeping the thread as interesting as possible.

Scoring for Film of the Year will also be upgraded. Points will now be as follows:

01 = 30 pts

02 = 25 pts

03 = 20 pts

04 = 18 pts

05 = 16 pts

06 to 20 = 15 pts down to 01. 🔢

This week sees an introduction to the Top 20. It will bring a broader coverage of the most popular films and hopefully add a little fun to the thread.

I try to check the Top 20 at 15:00 hours each Sunday.

There has been a resurgence for several titles that have had price drops this week. The Beekeeper has returned to #1, pushing the new release Godzilla x Kong in to the #2 position.

Lots of recent titles reduced.

After three death-defying adventures defeating world-class villains with his unmatched courage and mad martial arts skills, Po, the Dragon Warrior (Jack Black), is called upon by destiny to... give it a rest already. More specifically, he's tapped to become the Spiritual Leader of the Valley of Peace. That poses a couple of obvious problems. First, Po knows as much about spiritual leadership as he does about the paleo diet, and second, he needs to quickly find and train a new Dragon Warrior before he can assume his new lofty position. Even worse, there's been a recent sighting of a wicked, powerful sorceress, Chameleon (Viola Davis), a tiny lizard who can shapeshift into any creature, large or small. And Chameleon has her greedy, beady little eyes on Po's Staff of Wisdom, which would give her the power to re-summon all the master villains whom Po has vanquished to the spirit realm. So, Po’s going to need some help. He finds it (kinda?) in the form of crafty, quick-witted thief Zhen (Awkwafina), a corsac fox who really gets under Po’s fur but whose skills will prove invaluable. In their quest to protect the Valley of Peace from Chameleon’s reptilian claws, this comedic odd-couple duo will have to work together. In the process, Po will discover that heroes can be found in the most unexpected places.

THE FALL GUY has been released on digital in other countries, but not yet in Australia/NZ. Its still at cinema's here, so its possible that it will be delayed, or it may be something to do with the timeline compared to other countries. Shouldn't be long before we see it.
