Hi. Does anyone have the 2019 4K Fire Stick who could run a test for me?
I connected a Bluetooth speaker to my Firestick last night. Netflix, Spotify etc all work perfectly, but all Prime Video content stutters. I tried two bluetooth speakers, same exact behaviour.
Handle9: I'll try it later on. Just prime video?
Yup. Cheers.

Are you using Prime Video with an NZ Prime Video account or with a US/UK account?
With the Expanse coming back I want to watch on Prime without messing about with VPNs etc.
Generally known online as OpenMedia, now working for Red Hat APAC as a Technology Evangelist and Portfolio Architect. Still playing with MythTV and digital media on the side.
I am using US Prime, and US Netflix. It's not the reason for the issue. Support told me to clear the app cache and data from the FireTV for the Prime TV, so I'll try that. Otherwise I'll see if it will let me uninstall and reinstall it.

@openmedia - I just run the Prime app on my phone and cast it to my FireTV.
Easiest way I have found to watch Prime on my Firestick.
I have cast it to my chromecast as well, but find I got German Language subtitles when play recent episodes of The Boys.

It's ok, a reboot of everything has made things somewhat better. It's not perfect, but probably liveable. Would still be keen to hear, if it's not too much trouble.

Damn. Not really family friendly. Just want Prime to work.
I've tried changing my location details to NZ, but it still tries to access UK or US PrimeVideo

We have a Fire TV Cube and an Echo Studio. I've paired those two as a "Home Theatre" speaker group and assigned to a room. This means the Echo Studio plays the sound in sync with the Fire TV - the Fire TV doesn't even output this to the TV. It also means I can control the volume using the Fire TV Cube remote (the one with the volume up/down buttons). It also means support for Dolby, etc - something you won't get via Bluetooth. And you can have more than one speaker in the group.

Thanks. I am busy looking for a Bluetooth Wifi Speaker ( I think I have almost decided) and one of the things I'd really like (though no-one can really tell me for some reason) is if I can have 2 devices (my 4K FireStick) and My Amazon Echo Spot, both connected to the Speaker without having to disconnect or unpair to use the other..
If you had the space I'd suggest replacing the Echo Spot with the Echo Studio. The sound is amazing and it will be better than any Bluetooth speaker around. It also has Bluetooth so in addition to pairing with your Fire TV you could use it as a speaker for Bluetooth devices like smartphones.

If the Studio had a screen, then that would have been ideal in many ways (though I am not sure how it compares in sound to something like the Audio Pro C5A or C10 which are the units I am looking at).
I would need to try and find somewhere to listen to one. There is a Noels near me I was at today, but I didn't see it, and they don't have stock for sale as such.
