Some more recent upgrades include:-

Star Trek (2009) now has Dolby Atmos audio to pair with the Dolby Vision video already available.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and the sequel, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, have both been upgraded to Dolby Atmos. They were already Dolby Vision enabled.

The Blues Brothers (1980) now upgraded to 4K HDR video.

Question: the Apple TV app on smart TV's, that limited to 1080p, right? And the only way to watch 4K is on an actual Apple TV 4K device? Anyone know for sure?

The Apple TV app will play 4K HDR/Dolby Vision if your Smart TV supports it.

When you first log in to your app, you should be able to set it up to use the best quality available on the TV. You obviously need a movie encoded in 4K HDR to take full advantage of your 4K TV.

Anyone using the app care to elaborate on this.

Thanks. I was looking at Apple's website and the best I could see is "HD" unless using the Apple TV 4k box. I'm reluctant to buy one yet since the replacement model is coming out sometime.

(BTW, I downloaded iTunes and was disappointed to see all the movies I redeemed years ago from blu-ray+digital copy were "SD" only! The option is still there to buy them though, in HD.)

The Apple TV app on our LG TV plays movies (if encoded) in 4K with Dolby Atmos.

We don’t really use our Apple TV box anymore.

All of the Resident Evil live action films (except one) have now been upgraded to Dolby Vision/Dolby Atmos. The first in the series is the only one not to have Atmos yet.

Anyone know how to search iTunes on Windows for Dolby Atmos content? There's a section title "Dolby Atmos" but it doesn't have many titles in it.

That would be a great feature. I don't think that you can do an Atmos search, but I may be wrong.

Official Secrets (2019) [Thriller] @ $0.99 Rental or $9.99 Buy (HD/Dolby Digital Plus)

One day in 2003, in the lead up to the Iraq War, British intelligence specialist Katharine Gun receives a memo from the NSA with a shocking directive: the United States is enlisting Britain's help in collecting compromising information on U.N. Security Council members to blackmail them into voting in favor of an invasion of Iraq. Unable to stand by and watch the world be rushed into war, Gun makes the gut-wrenching decision to defy her government and leak the memo to the press.

I believe that Apple are at the mercy of the content provider. Once Disney started Disney+, most of their offerings on iTunes were no longer Atmos. I don’t know if that has changed recently because there is so little new content on iTunes I hardly bother checking anymore.

Anyone try Disney+? The Dolby Atmos stuff on there (that I've watched) is really weak sounding. Almost like the person mixing it needs some coffee.

Apple TV app is now live on Xbox! I cranked it up. I read it said that it's the same interface as the TV apps. I tried the Star Trek (2009) from my library, yep plays in SD quality. Yet it shows Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos on the UI - which is weird...
