I have set things up so that I can watch HULU videos but am having a problem downloading them. I am using Hola Unblocker and get a good video stream, but can't get copies.

Incidentally, it is possible to easily toggle HU off when not required.

I have tried a number of apps as follows;
Stream Transport
AVGO Free Video Downloader
Hulu Video Downloader
UltraGet Video Downloader
Speedbit Video Downloader
Star Downloader
Leawo Video Accelerator
Flash Video Downloader
Download Helper

Can anyone assist?

Downloading would be infringing on the sites usage rules and illegal.

Notwithstanding the legality of it, you could try www.playlater.tv

The product is legal, the use of it under question.

I have tried it and it works on Hulu+, Amazon, Netflix, CBS and others.

Not sure if it will work if you are using Unblock on VF cable because of the transparent proxy and the fact it uses I suspect port 80,  but it worked fine on Unblock on Telecom VDSL

[EDIT]

Probably would not work with Hola since it does not run in a browser but you could certainly try since the product has a 30 money back trial.

I use playlater for Netflix which works well. It only works for US and Canadian regions. I am using Unblock US

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

Vodafone ADSL. It records in real time in 480p which is watchable. It also supports loads of other streaming services. I bought a lifetime licence.

I am using it on Telecom VDSL. It's okay but I am thinking of jumping ship back to VF cable and I think it won't work then.

Well at least not on Unblock but would on a VPN service if the VPN is in the router or some client side app.

@OP, the only application still able to capture HULU content is RTMPdump. A whole bunch of applications use it as a plugin to enable HULU capture so if you're not up to using command line tools then check one of them out. YMMV, ofc.
