I use mediahint for netflix on with firefox. It worked perfectly until my PC crashed and I did a fresh install of Windows 8.1 ( was using 8 earlier) and boom the mediahint stopped working.

Strangely it is still working with firefox my another Windows 7 laptop

Have you faced this problem? Any solutions?

Had never heard of Mediahint. Googled it and installed the Firefox extension, could get to Hulu but not Netflix.

Able to access it fine using Unblock-us.

Ugh I wondered why the net was so slow for me this morning, like being back on dial-up, then I found that in the network settings of my browser it was sending all traffic through mediahint. Seriously: do yourself a favour and ditch this product and sign-up to something like unblock-us which works reliably and doesn't impact on your entire internet experience.
