I've raised a support ticket with Unotelly but just curious as to whether anyone else is getting the "Sorry, Netflix hasn't arrived in your part of the world yet".

Tried multiple regions, flushed cache, updated ip.

Vodafone DSL
Chrome

BBC iPlayer and itv work, as does the Netflix iPad app.




Interests: HTPC, Web App authoring.

try deleting chrome and all your settings for it and re install it. If you dont want to do that use Firefox . Chrome wont work for me but i cant be bothered to wipe everything and start again, so i use Firefox for Netflix.

You didn't mention what device you were getting the error on. If it's working on some devices but not others on the same network that would suggest a device issue. Do you have the Unotelly DNS in your router or per device?

All fine here Apple TV, Macbook and iOS app.

Snap 100/50 with Unotelly.

It seems still some on Vodafone DSL are having problems. This has been discussed at length here - not pretty much everyone has this problem fixed now, including Vodafone cable.

Log a ticket with Vodafone and contact NikT via PM here on Geekzone.

I did have that same issue then but it went away. It's just started acting up the last 24 hours or so.

Ah yep worth a try. Is it a known thing?


not sure but everything worked on both browsers  then they both had the same problem you have . So  i uninstalled Firefox and all user data and did a clean install and it worked right away and has ever since . I still cant get Chrome to work but as i said , i havent bothered doing a clean install, i just dont want to lose all my bookmarks etc.

Hi.

If you're on Windows, try turning off IPv6 in the network adapter. Saw it in the Unotelly troubleshooting guide and it worked for me.

Vodafone VDSL here, using UnoTelly and Chrome on W7. Working perfectly well. DNS settings are local to the machine not the router.

I've also blocked (at the router) the following public DNS IP's:
8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4
208.67.222.222
209.244.0.3

+1 - and in your router unless you actually need them.

In the Unotelly Dynamo options have you set Netflix to USA or UK.

I find it works much better for me when set to UK and I'm using Vodafone (formerly TelstraClear) Cable.

I was on Toronto which was the default, and I've tried Auckland. I tried at Seattle at Unotelly support's suggestion. No difference....

I'll try UK too.

The countries that don't work are uk, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Netherlands.

I use the UnoTelly server in Auckland for DNS Number, but in the Dynamo settings, under "Netflix" category, I select UK. That seems to work best.

I notice sometimes the Netflix menu tiles on the amazon fire TV sometimes seem to be reluctant to load.
Movies have streamed ok though - I have just subscribed to SD.
I am using an Amazon Fire TV with unotelly.

Apart from that it seems to work remarkably well.

That's my usual setup.

Unotelly have sorted it. It was apparently a glitch on the uk server.
