The list of removals seems a lot longer than the list of new movies.  That's not a great sign, although it doesn't show TV shows, and I know the trend is more towards TV binge viewing rather than movies.

A good site to find out if Netflix or other services have a show or movie is www.moreflicks.com and also what Netflix region it may be available in.

Are you currently faced with a lack of stuff to watch on Netflix?

While there is nothing ultra amazing in the new releases in July, there is still an enormous amount of content on there to watch.

According to Moreflicks own site, it is possible their web site will be gone in two weeks.

Netflix have pulled their API from all but a handful of approved developers - and Moreflicks is not one of them.

Moreflicks is the only site I have found that allowed you to easily search across all Netflix regions, but already it is out of date now as the API has been pulled eg Premonition (2007) is available in Finland Netflix but Moreflicks does not show that, it only shows Brazil and Canada.

Very sad indeed.

Would not be surprised if this was the movie houses putting pressure on Netflix to stop making it easy for people to beat geo-blocking ie Moreflicks really only exists as a benefit for those by-passing geo blocking.

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

The list shows changes, not the full catalogue.

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

netflix-us - 4419
netflix-ca - 2777
quickflix - 1252 (not including ppv)
sky - 1041
tv3 - 3196
tvnz - 1507

Count includes a TV show as 1 (ie doesn’t count seasons), tvnz and tv3 usually don’t have the whole series

The netflix API has been dead for a while
