I'm watching Vikings on Mexican Netflix via Unotelly.

(Loving it, except for the CGI longship)

Towards the end of S01E03, there is a confrontation between Ragnar's crew and a band of Northumbrian soldiers on the beach. At this stage everyone starts speaking Norse/Old English and we can't tell what's going on.

Are we meant to have subtitles for this bit?

I've tried unotelly's subtitle blocker in the ON and OFF positions but there is no difference.

yes, there should be subtitles for that bit  (Lightbox has them BTW, that's how I know)

I've noticed Netflix often misses subtitles like that on some devices.  OITNB has a few episodes with a lot of spanish that is meant to have subtitles, but they don't appear on my PS3 no matter what I do.

I don't want subtitles all the way through, because I'm not Mexican!

Just as an exercise I did try the Spanish, and Brazilian Portugese subtitles on offer, but they weren't working at all.
