"In what could be a pre-emptive strike against Netflix, Foxtel has halved the price of its subscription video streaming service to $9.99 per month, Presto.

Presto had been priced at $19.99 when it was launched earlier this year. Foxtel had originally planned to charge $24.99."

Competition though can drive out the competition overtime,  if the prices are too low to be sustainable. This results is prices being cheap initally, but rising over time.
