Hi all. I have UFB with Vodafone, so have the Huawei Modem/Router. I pointed it to the UnBlockUS DNS server, and all was well until I had to reset the Router recently.
I do have a TPlInk WIFI router the good ol' tl-wr1043nd. I would prefer to add that via ethernet (i.e. wired) to the Huawei, and then change the DNS settings on the TPLink to point to the DNS server.
I just wonder what will happen, i.e. does the TPLink actually end up using the Huawei DNS to lookup the fixed DNS??.
I also wonder if I am setting the TPLink up as a wired bridge, it this is even possible.

any suggestions gratefully accepted!
Theo

The better option is to log into the Huawei with the admin account and set the DNS on the interface and not the DHCP scope.  You'll find a couple of descriptions if you search the forums here.
