Well actually it is a Bank Direct Visa card but should be the same thing, I just tried to sign up netflix USA but comes back with the message, "We could not verify your payment details. Please confirm your information or contact your financial institution".
So whats my best option to be able to sign up?

Have you made sure that you have at least $10 of funds available on your credit/debit card?

Reason I say this is because I think Netflix use the authorisation transaction trick which reserves a couple of dollars for a pending transaction which tells them if the card is valid or not.

Once they validate the card (which should be instantly) they just release the funds again.

I know this was the reason my card was declined the first time, I had a zero balance. I placed $10 on it and it worked.

They usually only do it for 1c (in my experience anyway).

Some credit cards can be limited for certain online services - my ANZ debit works fine with Netflix.

I just changed my payment method (card expired)

they charged my card a full month , then credited it straight back within 2 minutes

I use a US Paypal account as a buffer between Netflix and my credit card.
