I recently gave Popcorn Time on Android a test run on a Minix Neo X8-H

It is available from here: http://www.popcorn-time.se

Unfortunately, 1080p looked very stuttered on the Minix, which runs on Android Kitkat 4.4 and has an 8-core Mali-450 GPU and Quad-Core Cortex A9r4 Processor.

Just wondering if anybody out there has Popcorn Time working properly on similar hardware.

Tim

Try playing the same video file with MX Player (make sure you install the appropriate HW acceleration add on) and see what happens...

Thanks for that tip. The video plays perfectly in MX Player!

MX Player is the best video player for Android rn... if you can get popcorn time to use it, I'd do that
