Do Chromeboxes work with lightbox? My gut says no as they are basically linux+chrome which doesn't work without a lot of effort with online streaming services, but maybe they have some magic that allows them to work with Lightbox, TV3 etc.

Anyone tried them chrome OS based devices with online streaming services here in NZ?

Skygo works fine on my Chromebook

Haven't tried the others but can do when I get home tonight

I don't know why you would buy a Chromebook when a 10" Windows 2n1 hybrid quadcore baytrail tablet can be had for under $300

Google themselves say no:

Chrome devices have Flash support built-in, but they do not support Java or Silverlight.

Oh well streaming box or maybe NUC it is.

I tried casting lightbox from chrome out of curiosity and all I got was a black tv screen with audio.  Thought it might work better than there Samsung smart tv app, which has been a bit hit and miss lately.
