Hi All im after some Advice.

I have been using a service called UKTVeverywhere for over 3 years now. It has been working great until last week.

I have managed to put it down to my ISP.

when i load the portal on the STB using my home slingshot internet the portal will not load. however when i connect through my cellphone it works fine. UKTVeverywhere had never seen this before and where at a loss at what was going on.

today i got an email from them saying that another customer had the same problem and he also was in NZ.

i called slingshot who told me that the internet is fine and there is no problems at there end.

so my question to you all is HOW is this happening and is there a work around for this?

thanks in Advance.

Was it working before on Slingshot?

Do you rely on Global Mode for this to work? Have you checked the settings lately on your Slingshot account as they hanve changed the defaults for Global Mode?

Have you tried accessing the service from some friend's connection, not on Slingshot to make sure it's not your account with this service that is not working?

Hi There,

Yes was working fine with slingshot.

It isn't reliant on global mode as the streams come from the iptv providers service through a portal loaded onto a mag254 STB

I can get it to boot up with my cellphone connection and work fine (i will try another ISP tomorrow at a friends place).

I have tried it with both global mode on and off.

I spoke to slingshot today and they say nothing has changed and everything is how it should be.

Also the iptv provider had never seen this before and hey presto today another one and from NZ who is with Vodafone.

I have never seen anything like this before. I have tried all the obvious steps change router - rest router, still nothing.

It seems strange that the only problems they have are from NZ.. As they have STB all over the world and never had this problem.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Can your iptv provider supply IP addresses and ports that you can troubleshoot against?
