Since Sky lost the UK football I've been subscribed to PLP and have forgone the Champions League. My PLP experience has been poor with games often so bad I have to stop watching before I'm sick. I only have 6Mb which PLP support have told me is not enough to have a consistent stream.
We bought a new Samsung tv last year and set it up to the UK using Unblock US and have been streaming iPlayer flawlessly. In the last couple of months I've been using Netflix on my N5 through a Chromecast which has also worked flawlessly. My HTPC is capable of playing anything so I find it hard to believe the PLP issues are due to my hardware which I've tried though the HTMP and the tv.
All up I have the TV, an HTPC running MediaPortal, an XBox 360, a Chromebook and a Chromecast to play with.
We aren't prolific tv watchers (other than my wife watching Coro St on tvnz) so I'm trying to figure out the best way (read highest WAF) to be able to stream BBC, the EPL/UCL (through either BeIN Sports or FoxSoccer2Go) and continue with Netflix (either NZ or UK, preferably the UK).
I'm just looking at Unotelly who I believe can allow me to have different regions on different devices whereas Unblock US doesn't.
I also have a Harmony remote so switching between devices and inputs is easy, but does anyone have any suggestions on how I can achieve all of this ?
