Hey team.

Short version: Does anyone know if you can block/redirect the google DNS on the Orcon Genius 2 (NetComm NF4V)

Long Version: Orcon do not provide "Global Mode" any more, so I have gone back to using Unotelly.

Unotelly works great. The only issue is that from time to time I use a Android App/Chrome Cast/TV setup, I understand that the Chrome Cast is hard coded to use Google DNS (8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4) so it ignores my Unotelly settings and still acts as if its in New Zealand thus it gives an error any time I play a title not available here.

I did some research and found that this can be fixed by blocking the Google DNS or redirecting them back to the router (so they go to Unotelly).... and here is where I come unstuck, I cant for the life of me work out how to block the Google DNS on the Orcon Genius 2 Modem/Router (NetComm NF4V).

I have found the "Static Routing" section but cant get it to work, any advice?

Purely for purposes of research <grin>, I have the following on My Orcon White:

Advanced Setup / Security / Firewall.

You need to "Add Firewall" first, and then "Add Rule"(s).

You'll notice only the first two rules are actually enabled; and this did seem to do what I wanted.
