Probably a way off for NZ sports bodies but if in the future the NZRFU does a similar thing to what the NFL does with NFL pass and had a worldwide price for streaming NZ rugby content and you thought it was too high what would you do?

Good question for what might happen post 2020.  And I think it'd be something that SANZAR would have to do rather than the NZRFU otherwise you'd get people in Australia and South Africa streaming from NZ using DNS services (akin to those using PremierLeaguePass to get EPL in Australia).  

The key reason the NFL introduced a global GamePass price.....  to many US citizens streaming for free using offshore GamePass accounts (it used to be free).  I think there are "cheaper" GamePass options if you use a DNS service, saving you about USD5.00.  I'm not aware of any free or alternatives to GamePass but others might.

BTW I abandoned GamePass in favour of superior broadcast viewing. And very happy that TVNZ carries additional NFL games for free on its channels.  I didnt feel I was getting value for money at USD199 for the quality presented.  And about $10/week seems to be the current global price.

Yes would like something like this, but would like to see any device compatible, such as Chromecast, Apple TV, HbbTV app for Freeview boxes not just "exclusive" to certain brands like what PLP has decided to do.
