Has TVNZ flicked the switch for HD on playback with a good internet connection?

I ask this because I am watching through the new Windows 10 app via a laptop and find the quality of shows in HD (I can tell when it is)
I have VDSL  up where I am staying at the moment, If so then good on them as I am watching a few online only BBC series not on Netflix nor BBC iPlayer and find the TVNZ on demand content more appealing to use on shows I cant DNS elsewhere.

Funny enough I was watching TVNZ OD last night on the iPad and in the past had never thought much of the quality, but last night it was very clear.  HD?

Looked good on 55 inch TV, and PS3, using Fibre connection.

I'm actually interested in watching it now.
