Not trying to rub salt in any wounds but I've been watching via SkyGo just fine from the first ball without interruption. On Spark Fibre 100 in Central Wellington. So must only be affecting some people?

Yeah skygo is dead, its free on prime though I knew that $15 usb dvb-t dongle would be handy

 

Also wierd that skygo hasnt moved to the fanpass streams

Very unlikely to be the CDN. It looks a lot like issues on Skys side

To be fair, fanpass is used alot less than SkyGo. Fanpass might not stand up to the load either.

fan pass is the same CDN as the NHL so it should at least be able to scale up

SkyGo issue isn't with the CDN. It sounds very much like an authentication issue.

 

SkyGo uses Akamai, which are one of the largest CDN's.

I'm surprised Sky don't dum Sky Go and cut users over to fanpass. 

 

 

 

It's a totally different offering, with the notable point of difference being that fanpass actually works...
