I've heard mention a few time livestream.com regarding sport streaming. Can someone give me a run down of what you have been able to watch in the past and how well it works. I've signed up and had a look around  but am only seeing older recorded games, I'm sure that people have said they have watched live events on this format.I have noticed it is listed as a service on dns4me and was set on Brazil by default. thanks

I watch the nrl on there using unotelly. this is the nrl page http://livestream.com/nrl they should have the nines on there this weekend so you can test it out. On unotelly I believe they go through Germany to get access to it. I think lower level ate tennis is also broadcasted on live stream but I have never watched it though.

Livestream has iOS an android apps for airplay and chromecast too. Along with a new tvOS app for the new apple tv

Ooh, what do I need to do to use the tvOS app on ATV other than sign up from a free Lifestream account? Do I need subs to anything else or is the content free?

The app is not actually that great, but it works if you know what you're looking for. there is no where to even sign in, you just need to download it and open it up. there is search functionality for events and accounts.

Is livestream still geo-blocked?  I don't trust SkyGo while I'm travelling over the weekend, so l'm looking for a legal alternative to watch the Nines.  Would livestream be it?

Why not just get FanPass? It's well worth it.

Thats probably where I'll go if I get frustrated with SkyGo.  Fanpass seems much more stable, Skygo can be flaky and the number of times I've been kicked off because the login/device is "currently in use" staggers me (I only use one device and am the only registered login!).

I figure even if I watch one days worth (8 hours) and even get a bit of cricket in on the Saturday that a weekly pass has well paid for itself on Fanpass.

Watching the Black Caps destroy Australia the other day was worth every cent of my $56 monthly Fanpass sub. It's a good solution for things like cricket which are intermittent throughout the year.

just keep in mind if watching free, the ads will get you out of sync with real time, ie you will be 1 minute behind whats really happening in the league. easy fix, refresh browser.

I haven't watched in browser in a while, is there full ads now? not just the little banner down the bottom?

watching through the apps there are no ads which is awesome.
