JONC has released his early version Australian live tv video addon for kodi

It plays fine no dns or vpn needed..

Just thought I would try it out in preparation for the Olympics but most streams didn't work for me. Just get log errors or spinning away and then nothing.

It worked well at first, now I cant get anything working on the Kodi addon.

Go for the Australia 7 plus (works so well on Apple TV 4) , should have a whole heap of olympic content on it.

The latest is version 1.09 all channels are working (except for the channels 7's which need a dns or vpn due to geo-blocking)

A small edit need to be done to re-enable to channel 9's

Well on .09 I could not get any channels to come up apart from shopping channel and horse racing. So the plugin works - but clearly not doing something right concerning the other channels (not 7)

Did you apply the manual edit? as given on the instructions? then re-install the addon

Most of these are getting pulled now due to people stealing their work and selling it for high amounts of $$$ on cheap android boxes from aliexpress.

The freeview NZ one also got pulled.

I tested NSW 7 and 7Two. Both work fine. I'm using DNS4ME.

Spark Max Fibre using Mikrotik CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+, CRS125-24G-1S, Unifi UAP, U6-Pro, UAP-AC-M-Pro, Apple TV 4K (2022), Apple TV 4K (2017), iPad Air 1st gen, iPad Air 4th gen, iPhone 13, SkyNZ3151 (the white box). If it doesn't move then it's data cabled.
