I was intending to get Fanpass for a month to watch this, until I discovered that only 2 of NZ's games were at viewable times (i.e., not starting at 1am). I'd happily pay the monthly sub to watch them all live, but for catch-up viewing I prefer a cheaper option.

Looking around the internet this morning for a low-cost or free alternative to watch replays or highlights, I discovered that starsports.com appear to be showing the completed matches for free at this location: http://www.starsports.com/cricket/index.html On the left of the page are tiles showing the concluded games. Under the video thumbnail for each game are options for viewing highlights or full replays. I've got a full replay of Black Caps vs India from last night playing at the moment. It doesn't appear to be geo-blocked. I'm watching on my Mac via Safari browser and I have no geo-unblocker running on it. The the quality is average but watchable. There are commercial breaks and the odd pop-in ad, but I can live with that for the price :o) The video player is cool - you can pick which innings to watch, and check your bitrate, toggle things like text commentary, scorecard, and player stats.

Interestingly I also tried it on my iPad and the full replay option is missing, and it won't let me play the shorter clips. So, YMMV depending on what device you're using. But not a bad option if you don't want to pay full price just to watch replays.

Not showing on mine, I get a 'not available in your region' message.

I am at work, and our internet appears to the world as if it is coming out of Australia (we are on a Telstra Global connection). Maybe it is geoblocked to Aus but not NZ?

I understand Vodafone fantastic fridays are giving away free 7 day fan pass this week. Anyone got a code for that? The Blackcaps play Aussie on Friday night at 1030 so we can all watch that one.

Your right, but the NZ vs OZ match on Friday is on popup and SS4. I guess Fanpass gets you only NZ games. I see tbne ICC T20 Worlds Cup as fully deserving of a SS1-4 place, its not a small niche sport used as a filler

That's great, bit happier now.

Watching NZ vs Australia on StarSports website. Using an iPad with Unotelly DNS and airplaying to Apple TV. It appears to be at least 720p, so im quite happy. I think it's delayed a few minutes, as I'm getting scores from Stuff that haven't aired yet, but that's okay for a free broadcast. I didn't get Fanpass for it because the match was supposed to be rained off.

Strange. I just went to StarSports.com on my iPad, noticed it had a "live" button on the NZ vs Aus tile so I clicked it and up came the video. I was very surprised. I've lost the feed once and got an "access denied" error but I just refreshed it and it came back again. NZ currently 35/0 from 4 overs.

Just tried it, didn't work. But went on the unotelly app and was able to see there was a setting for starsports so changed it to India and it worked.

Whatever Unotelly said to use when I signed up a year ago - but programmed into the iPad not the router.

It works for me now after going to the unotelly app to change it to India on starsports. Forgot to go to that as the browser site doesn't allow you to select regions anymore.
