So I know we aren't talking about the technical stuff, but I get to the last step on Hulu, credit card bit.. And using my one smart card (which works with other us content providers) it's saying it needs to be a us card..

Anyone got any ideas?

Even better a free streaming service *sigh*

Try adding a zero to your zip code. My zip code is 7201. I usually put 07201. Or 72010 or something like that. It's enough to make Hulu think it's an American zip and it doesn't differ to much that my NZ bank will reject it as billing address being wrong.

If possible try and make it a genuine US zip. My 07201 is Elizebeth New Jersey ;)

Pretty sure that's how I got it done.

Side note there was some cheap Hulu subscription gift cards on

Here is the one I bought. 12 months for US 22. It redeemed fine on Hulu and a year was added before I need to pay again.

Good luck!

My bad. I thought you were trying to use an NZ card which should work. Mine didn't work initially until I modified the zip code.

The Hulu Credit Card problem started Mid Jan.  If you had your card in prior to that you are currently fine.  I used the Air NZ one, but went to update it and got hit with the problem.  Aust Credit cards are having the same problem.  Some seem to get through with American Express if you have one. Get it now with a US iTunes account.
