Hi

I have bought a Telme2 toslink optical transmitter so that I can watch TV at home on headphones without disturbing other people.

I can get brilliant sound via Bluetooth out of Sky programmes, including those recorded on my MySky box.

The headphones are a Sony product bought about six months ago.

However, I can only get Netflix (and YouTube) sound through the TV speakers. The Bluetooth doesn't get the sound.

The TV IS a Samsung smart TV about one year old.

Any advice on getting Netflix and YouTube sound to the headphones would be much appreciated.

Thank you.

The problem maybe that the optical device does not handle Dolby sound. With my LG TV I was able to change the optical output settings from auto to PCM only which sorted the problem.

Brilliant! That worked perfectly.

I found that the only way to control the volume was via the volume control on the headphones, but that wasn't an issue.

Thank you for your advice.
