I notice in the PDF that it says the following:
Quickflix's New Zealand business operates through its New Zealand subsidiary which continues to trade and is not in voluntary administration.
So I guess this only applies to Australia.

The NZ operations closed offices earlier this month, on a move to reduce costs.

That makes life rather confusing...

I wonder if they thought about the future when issuing preferential shares that would scare any future investor away? Also what kind of shareholder who is supportive of a company won't allow it to restructure in order to raise much needed capital.
Its the best option I think to at least get one back on "Stan" but at the price of other investors....
Note this is just what it reads like from the release, there is more going on I bet and I could be fully wrong on the situation.

i thought it looked close to the end when they were offering up a "free month of neon" to all their subscribers.... wonder if sky tv has any interest in the local org

Stan doesn't seem to be great either. I have a friend in Australia that has a free month of Stan, and I suggested a few things for him to watch. None of them were available. When the selection is smaller than NZ Netflix, you know there's a problem...
