Hey guys,

Just downloaded Smart IPTV on LG TV. Tried some playlists but either don't work or just freeze.

Any recommendations would be great!

Thanks :)

Try here for an excellent range of most Free-To-Air UK and Australian live TV links. I have these working through Smart IPTV on all of our Sammies and it works well. Navigate to the "Bulk Uploading of programmes" and you will see the available regions already made into playlists that you simply upload to your TV through Smart IPTV. Apart from the UK and Australian streams, additional regions include Scandinavia, Italy, France and Greece.

As mentioned these are all Free-To-Air and the links are long established. Am currently watch Sky News UK in HD.

Note, although the thread indicates for AppleTV, everything works with the Smart IPTV programme available on any platform.

Experience has taught me not to waste my time on the so called IPTV listing sites as the listings do indeed just freeze or change every few days. But the EyeonDemand site linked to above is an excellent source of "streaming TV" news and views. Certainly not for posting illegal links to pay TV streaming links.

Nice, thanks for this link. I use the TV Streams app on the ATV and I've been looking for some good UK channel streams.

Define "good" playlists.

Not really. When I first got the IPTV app for my Sammies, I searched high and low for the likes of SKY UK or Bein Sports with little success. Most of the links would die after 48 hours (at most) and would stutter like crazy, or as you may have found out, just die after 5 seconds.

If you look at the upload dates on the free listings, you will note that they are updated every couple of days. I think this is because a lot of the aggregator/distributor sites update their "tokens" every 24 hours or so. At least that is my understanding of the way it works. Somebody with a better understanding may want to jump in.

There are a couple of pay sites, but a friend of mine had tried what I understood to be the largest for the likes of Sky UK and various sports channels, but the quality was atrocious, with continual buffering. I think it was a European site. There are a couple of Russian sites as well because IPTV is quite big over there.

I decided to keep my money in wallet and not make his mistake.

I can't help much more other than the link to the "official" long standing European streams link I posted earlier, sadly. Frustrating really, we are not quite there yet.

Also do a search for KODI and IPTV. There is a thriving community there with regards to IPTV and they use a programme called IPTV Stalker. Not quite sure how it works, but have been meaning to spend a few hours on the net to check it out and see if that can be utilised.

I have been playing with KODI on Amazon Fire TV with an IPTV Repo called Dexter Tv Pro for the last two year ...its 5 pounds a month with access to all the UK and USA Sport and TV channels.  I have a good ADSL connection and get very little buffering ...recommend it
