So... As someone who missed all TV for the whole of 2015, I've now binge watched Arrow S3 and Flash S1 and they are both on FTA tv in NZ in ArrowS4/FlashS2 but only allow back episodes to the last four weeks on TV on demand ๐Ÿ˜ก

So now even though they're showing the new seasons here, I can't actually seem to find a legal way to bridge the old series to the current episodes without other 'free' options that obviously are not legal.

I've looked though both flixsearch and lemonTV, and have access to the full catalogues on iTunes (US, UK and NZ) NetFlix (all regions) Lightbox AND Neon... Am I missing something?

If they're not showing up on lightbox, neon, iTunes nz or iTunes us (I'd expect they must be on iTunes us) then there is no legal way.

What season are you missing, arrow season 1 and 2 must be if Netflix us and iTunes?

Current seasons I'd only expect t to see on iTunes (Hulu) and if tvnz doesn't allow the whole season then, sorry, you live in the wrong country, one who's on demand services are too restricted in how much old content they can show.

I'm looking for arrow season 4 (currently on TVNZ in demand but only from e18-21)

And the Flash season 2 (currently on demand at e18-21 also as they overlap/intertwine drastically at times)

Is there really a good reason why TVNZ only allow 3-4weeks back on fully aired tv series?

Isn't this what Hulu was meant to be for?

The only one I haven't (yet) got ๐Ÿ˜†

Can you confirm its on there?

And does anyone know why on demand only allows 4 weeks back?

They have flash s02e15, and 18-21 on hulu.

It is a licensing thing. Blame old world distribution models for ruining online stuff.

I am assuming that all episodes are available on TPB and other sites so the answer is obvious.

Yep, vodlocker and put-locker both have them, but I'm trying to have 'integrity' and be legit ๐Ÿ˜‡... I guess patience is something else I should be working on now too *sigh*

I've just checked US iTunes and Amazon Video and they're on both - the full seasons. They're US$2.99 per episode or $40 and $50 respectively for the season pass.

Not that it helps with your back-issue problem, but I've also just discovered you can stream these shows (and many others) on The CW app for free without needing a cable network login. Nice! So if you manage to find a way to catch up that doesn't involve buying the season pass, you can catch up on the last 5 weeks that way as well. Might provide better streaming potential than TVNZ OnDemand.

Thanks for the CW tip!

I have now found them on iTunes (needed to swap region login โ˜บ๏ธ) and there they were.US $2.99/$50 per season is a little rich for my blood, so I guess I'll just wait and binge it like I did S3... After going without for the whole of 2015, I'm sure it won't be more than a couple months now as they both near the end of the current season, just irritating that it's not on the backlog on the on/demand set I guess \_o_/

Yeah, we had the same problem with The 100 after we'd caught up to the end of season one, and Hulu was missing the beginning of season two. I've experimented with The CW app - not sure it'll stream to TV (I could mirror but it wasn't full screen) but looked great on my iPad. They do have an Apple TV 4 app called CW Seed which has some older stuff on. Might try Almost Human, which is on there.
