I have a subscription to Netflix (not NZ) but am wanting to get more recent movies, say 6-9 months or about the time they become available on DVD in NZ.

I could keep Netflix (or get rid of it), provided I could pay for recent movies with another streaming Service.

I am perhaps thinking of Vudo or Amazon Prime (I will miss Netflix if I go to Amazon Prime but I can live with that).

I have 2 x Samsung H6400 2014 model smart TV's, 2 FireTV boxes and a Roku 3 which I haven't plugged in for a year or more. The TV's can get Amazon Prime but not Vudu.

I have an Entropay Visa Card (USD), but am finding it difficult to cut through all the blurb with streaming services.

I am with Vodafone, but will probably switch to Spark once my 12 month contract expires in order to take advantage of Lightbox.

Can anyone offer advice on watching more recent movies than Netflix, bearing in mind that I would go with a well known company?

Netflix Canada and Scandinavian countries seem to have the newer movies, vudu is on par with iTunes Amazon etc....and since you already have the roku id look at roku (make sure you have a us account then vudu shows up).
